Did you Know Grandparenting is Mentoring?

Did you know grandparenting is a form of mentorship?

It is!

Mentor: Nana Brendolyn Ray

Nana Brendolyn is an example of the ultimate mentor through grandparenting.  She raised her two grandchildren from the time they were two years old through high school.  They learned more than just how to spell their names; Brendolyn taught them values and structure.  They are extremely successful young adults now, and Nana Brendolyn is grateful and proud.  Her legacy continues with her grandchildren.

The Mentor Project documents the role of mentoring and its powerful impact not only on the mentees but the mentor. During my research what I discovered was astonishing. After nearly45 in-depth interviews all the participants unanimously said being a mentor changed their life. It is now my mission to let others know the value and benefits mentors receive from giving back."
